Pre-Engineered Construction

What makes our buildings so strong and
durable? At Stockade Buildings we have proven construction techniques we
use to get the maximum strength out of each building component. We call this
system the "TRAN - STRESS" design. These proven
techniques are included in each of our pre-engineered building systems.
A Standard Frame
System:
Stockade’s
Standard Frame "Tran - Stress" Structural System is designed for the
industrial and agriculture market. This versatile system enjoys wide usage in
manufacturing complexes, warehouse, recreational facilities and agriculture
buildings, while providing outstanding value combined with great appearance and
performance.
A Flush Frame System:
This
pre-engineered system combines the advantages of the structural, Flush Frame
"Tran - Stress" wall system with exceptional thermal capabilities for
maximum energy conservation. Click the link above to read more about this system
Our Very own "Rafter S" System:
Stockade’s
Rafter “S” Structural "Tran - Stress" System provides the
flexibility of design and pre-engineered construction efficiencies required to
satisfy your horse housing needs.

Standard Frame Construction
Stockade’s Standard Frame Structural
System is designed for the industrial and agriculture market. This versatile
system enjoys wide usage in manufacturing complexes, warehouse, and recreational
facilities and agriculture buildings, while providing outstanding value combined
with great appearance and durability.

Standard Frame Column
2 x 6 / 2x 8 / 2 x 6
#1 Southern Yellow Pine, Glue and Nail
Laminated
for Superior Strength!

Butt
braced framing members are a key factor in the superiority of the trans-stress
design. Equal distribution of the forces and stresses is obtained by bracing
roof and wall framing members between the protruding center laminate of the
column as in our standard frame buildings, or between the complete columns as
with our Flush Frame Buildings and recessed between the trusses in all of our
building systems. The entire butt end cross section of the member
transmits stresses to wall columns and trusses, around the building. Nails are
used to hold bracing in place...not for absorbing stress, as in other buildings.
The strength built into your stockade building is obtained by utilizing the
fiber strength of each member for positive bearing… rather than depending on
nails for strength

Wall System with out Insulation, shows the 2 x 6 #2 Southern Yellow Pine Girts, standard

Flush Frame Construction
This pre-engineered system
combines the advantages of the structural, Flush Frame wall system with
exceptional thermal capabilities for maximum energy conservation. Of special
interest to Owners, architects and engineers, the Flush Frame System allows for
easy installation of the interior finishes and insulation.

Commercial Flush Frame Wall Column

for Superior Strength!

Butt
braced framing members are a key factor in the superiority of the trans-stress
design. Equal distribution of the forces and stresses is obtained by bracing
roof and wall framing members between the 3 ply laminated Flush Frame wall columns
or between the truss. The entire butt end cross section of the member transmits
stresses to wall columns and trusses, around the building. Nails are used to
hold bracing in place...not for absorbing stress, as in other buildings. The
strength built into your stockade building is obtained by utilizing the fiber
strength of each member for positive bearing… rather than depending on nails
